Diesels of East Yorkshire- Four Decades of Change

This photographic journey illustrates East Yorkshire's fascinating passenger and freight trains, railway infrastructure, stations and signalling over a 40-year period from the late 1970s. Local knowledge has enabled many unrepeatable workings or interesting visiting locomotives to be captured on film giving a comprehensive record of the many changes that have taken place in the railways of East Yorkshire. Over 180 colour photographs illustrate whether rail services have grown or declined over they years and the evolving infrastructure.
