BR Blue No 6 Train Formations

Author John Dedman has again delved into the archives to produce a further collection of nostalgic images covering the BR Blue period. In what has become a collectable and reasonably priced series, he takes for his theme the subject of train formations. In the past the 1970s and 1980s have been regarded as the period when the bland corporate image and perceived fixed train formations meant life was somewhat staid compared with previous decades. In this, as in his previous books, the author has dispelled this myth and provided a lively and evocative selection of unseen colour photographs showing the range and variety of train formations during the period.
