Description / An Illustrated Appreciation 4 Gresley K3's
Built over a period of eight years this 193-strong class of 2-6-0 locomotive were designed by Gresley and could be found almost anywhere on former LNER metals from Kings Cross in the south to Aberdeen in the north and Lowestoft in the east and Carlisle Canal in the west. The final engines were produced in 1920 and the class was complete by 1937 with the class extinct on BR metals by 1963.
