Metrolink Postcard Portait Painting

Manchester's Metrolink system, operating between Bury, Piccadilly and Altrincham, is Britain's first new Light Rapid Transit system to operate on-street. A basic ten minute service will be available seven days per week, with a five minute frequency during weekday peak periods. This view, by Derek Bailey, shows one of the Italian-built articulated LRVs passing the G-Mex Exhibition Centre, outward bound for Altrincham.
