In this latest book from the Industrial Railway society, the author, Robin Waywell looks to give the reader an in-depth, historical review of the industrial railways and their locomotives around the Kent region. This book looks at the vast industrial landscape of the county from its industrial boom right up until the present day with most industries a distant memory. This book has a useful key at the beginning of the book to help the reader with any abbreviations within the text. There are over 20 maps all detailing the landscape at that time and this book even includes a pamphlet with further maps included. Colour runs throughout this publication and includes over 100 photographs, some in colour while older shots are in black & white.
