The Setright and TIM Tickets of Southdown and Brighton Hove & District

Setright and TIM machines were the backbone of Southdown and Brighton, Hove & District's ticket machines between the Punch and Almex era before electronic times. Extracted from company records, plots the history of the machines from delivery and original allocation through to withdrawal, disposal and life with new owners. Various ticket styles and colours, there use, advertisements and a few odd surprises. Also included the short-lived Southdown Solomatic experiment in Worthing. Many illustrations in full colour with some interesting photographs.
