The complicated Heathfield Pool Services involved Southdown and Maidstone & District working six services jointly from seven (later eight) garages. Details of the introduction, working and eventual decline of the scheme are included together with previous and subsequent histories of the services involved, as are vehicle workings and timetables from May 1966 when one-person working was introduced by both companies. The book has glossy full-colour card covers and has 92 pages.
