Loughborough's Buses- The Deregulated Years

There are many views on whether the deregulation of the bus industry in October 1986 was a success or otherwise. In many ways it varies from city to city, town to town and county to county and also from the view point of the customer, the bus company or the local authority. This book sets out the story of just one small town in Leicestershire and the events over the last 32 years leading up to today's bus network. It is left up to the reader of this book to make their own mind up whether deregulation has been a success in Loughborough or otherwise.
