Ffoshelig Coaches Ltd Carmarthen

This publication has been produced to celebrate the centenary of Ffoshelig Coaches, who are currently the longest serving independent passenger vehicle operator in South Wales. The founder of Ffoshelig Coaches, David Jones was originally a farmer at Ffoshelig Farm, Newchurch, Carmarthen, and diversified from farming into road transport, firstly with a haulage business, followed by an omnibus. The business changed ownership from the Jones family to Rhodri Evans on the company's 75th anniversary in 1996, making this a double celebration, the 25th anniversary of the current owner of the business.
