Scotland by Rail and Sea

Scotland retains an extensive network of rail and ferry services that were instrumental in creating and developing a thriving tourist industry, whilst providing lifeline links to rural and island communities. The landscape images of acclaimed photographer Dennis Hardley are well known, but his portfolio of dramatic images of trains and ships in the spectacular scenery of Western Scotland is presented here for the first time.
