Branch Lines Around Swaffham

The railways which ran through the East Anglian countryside and converged on the market town of Swaffham provided a vital service to their rural communities for many years, and made notable contributions in two world wars. However, apart from a short section retained to serve a sand quarry, they had all disappeared by late 1968.
