Hebble Motor Services Limited, Halifax & Bradford

The Holdsworth family developed this business organically, starting as carriers in the 19th century and operating motor vehicles from 1913. After several years of unlicensed services, the Holdsworths operated as Hebble from 1924. The subsequent and complex company history until the Hebble name went in 1975 is told in this book which is packed with illustrations and culminates in appendices and a fleet list.
