Sheffield Buses in the 1960's

During the 1960s, the Sheffield fleet strength stood at over 700 buses covering seventeen different chassis marques and fourteen body manufacturers! This DVD captures most of the variety. A marvellous study of Sheffield buses filmed in and around the Sheffield area, over the period 1960 to 1973. The full commentary describes the mysteries of the A, B and C fleet ownership along with details of the vehicles that appear on screen. These range from a pre-war Leyland TS6 tramway welding vehicle to the East Lanes bodied Bristol VRTs. In between there are masses of Titans, Regents, Bridgemasters, Atlanteans, Leopards and Fleetlines to satisfy all appetites. There's even footage of a spectacular two bus collision!
