Originally produced to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the closure of Brighton's much admired trolleybus system, this volume contains colour footage of Corporation and Company trolleybuses in action. Special features: stunning film of the 1939 tram to trolleybus conversion filmed by the then general manager, Winston Robinson with trams on Dyke Road; visits to Weyman & Cromptons; inauguration of the trolleybuses; the last trams; the magnificent Southern Railway ‘Brighton Belle’ Pullman in 1939; coverage of the world famous Volks Electric Railway including the reopening in May 1948.
